The Office of the District Attorney for the Towaliga Judicial Circuit and the Prosecuting Attorney’s Council announce the addition of Jessica Rock as a statewide resource prosecutor for animal crimes. Jessica’s previous experience as an Assistant District Attorney in DeKalb County, provided her the opportunity to prosecute major crimes such as homicides and domestic violence, as well as extensive experience handling cases involving animal crimes.

Over the past five years, Jessica began focusing her attention on providing case assistance and training to law enforcement and prosecutors all over the United States. She specializes in cases related to animal cruelty and dog fighting. Jessica helps bring awareness to the link between animal abuse and interpersonal crimes, such as organized crime, gang activity, drugs and weapons. Jessica also assists with case preparation and courtroom presentation in cases involving crimes against animals.

As part of a new grant, we are able to offer training and assistance with animal crimes prosecution to law enforcement agencies and prosecutors around Georgia. Please contact the Sallie Nowell at Prosecuting Attorneys’ Council of Georgia at snowell@pacga.org to schedule a training or 770-282-6300 or jrock@pacga.org for prosecution assistance with animal crimes.
